Noise Abatement Update
Earlier this week, we met with city bylaw officials at The Clemow to discuss potential options for sound abatement.
While our property continues to operate within all required compliance standards, we understand the importance of addressing community concerns and want to ensure we remain a good neighbour.
Community Update: Assessment of Noise near The Clemow
We want to thank Glebe residents for continuing to share their feedback and concerns regarding noise levels near The Clemow.
In response to community concerns, both the City of Ottawa’s bylaw office and an independent sound consultant have now completed their assessments.

275 carling - noise study results | GW21-194 - Acoustic Certification Letter
Gradient Wind Engineering (Gradient Wind) has been retained by KTS Properties to provide an acoustic on‐site certification letter for their residential development located at 275 Carling Avenue, known as The Clemow.
Gradient Wind previously prepared the Traffic Noise Study dated January 31, 2018, and the Stationary Noise Study dated May 24, 2023, for this project.

Update on Noise Assessment
As part of our ongoing commitment to address community concerns about an increase in noise near The Clemow, an Ottawa bylaw officer visited the area earlier today.
The officer assessed a nearby property where a resident reported increased noise since The Clemow’s cooling system began running.
